From September 3 to 7, 2018, the third training program and study visits of the project “SURVIVE – Surviving The Storm: Identifying & Linking Internal Capabilities with Business Continuity”. Erasmus + KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training – Exchanges of Practices – project number 2017-1-IT01-KA202-006081, organized by the Spanish company Fundation Integral Steel Workers was carried out in Puerto de Sagunto, Valencia, Spain.
In the presence of all partners, Poland (Euro-Idea – Krakow), Portugal (Epralima – Arcos de Valdevez), Spain (Bulgaria – Bulgarian Management Association – Blagoevgrad), Italy (Godesk – Potenza and Sharing Europe – Florence) and Greece (EEO Group – Athens), with the objective of investigating and identifying the secret of the companies’ success, which during the crisis period allowed them to overcome difficulties and survive, often taking advantage of this moment to increase its markets and turnover, the Spanish company organizer promoted training on Human Resources Management, where it sought to make aware that the development of skills is an essential element for the employability of workers and for the sustainability of companies.
Another visit was made to the Industrial Heritage Foundation – Cultural Sector, a foundation dedicated to the preservation of the industrial and cultural heritage of the region of Puerto de Sagunto and which pointed out as perseverance the success of its field of activity.
Subsequently, the partners were also able to attend a presentation of a company, Nunsys, which emerged in the middle of the economic crisis with the aim of creating technological solutions developed according to the needs of its clients, contributing to the survival of some and to the growth of others. Despite its creation in times of crisis, it is currently a constantly expanding and highly successful company.
After completing the agenda of the event and to conclude, the calendar for the next meeting and study visit under the responsibility of EPRALIMA, was reminded. Therefore, the first meeting will be held in Arcos de Valdevez, Portugal, on 18th and 19th October and the second one will be held from 11th till 15th November of the current year.
